[post=28069]Quoted post[/post] No sex at all, I'm afraid. :P I recall seeing this film; primarily focuses on Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders captured at Singapore and their lives in a Jap POW camp. Quite well made and acted, but not too much conventional fighting - a few beheadings. What about 'Attack Force Z' with Mel Gibson and Sam Neill (1983-ish) playing Australian commandos fighting in the Pacific; and there were two others - both with Neighbours stars, Jason Donovan and Craig Mclachlan, IIRC, - a bit girly but lots of shooting and special ops. Not British I grant you, but Commonwealth forces all the same. Richard
I liked this film, it looked at the Japanese-POW situation from a different angle concentrating on the relationships and conflicts between fellow prisoners. I would not call this a brilliant film but it is good, another excellent performance by Mr Carlisle. I am also glad to find that other people saw it to, I thought I was the only one. Brum
