No M&S are in the pedestrian bit.
The marchers go up Commercial Road.

Poppy sellers stopped from collecting outside M&S (From Swindon Advertiser)

That chap in the picture took me to my medical in Devizes when I joined the TA in 1986.
He was Sgt Baker back then.
At least the head office responds to enquiries...
    Thank you for your e-mail.
Unfortunately as you say there was
an incident at our Swindon store
where the local poppy appeal was
sent a letter in error. We have
apologised for the error and asked
the local branch of the Royal British
Legion to get back in touch with the
    store.
Marks & Spencer is a big supporter
of the Poppy Appeal and is doing
more this year than ever before.
Poppy collectors are welcome in all
    M&S stores and fund raising
activities by M&S staff are expected
to net a large donation from for this
    year’s appeal.
The Poppy Appeal is one of the
beneficiaries of this year’s 125 Fund
raising Activities and are in fact
expected to benefit from a £5,000
plus donation as a result of next
    Friday’s Penny Bazaar in the
    Swindon store.
Thanks again for getting in touch.

Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, as my Dad is ill. However, I took a few photos before my camera quit working. It was a beautiful service which I viewed on TV.:poppy:

Hello, HRH did have some Quebec protestors greet him in Montreal yesterday. There were no issues here in Ottawa.
