Where are the 'data gaps' in WW2 history?
What do you think'll never be found?
What do you think might be, one day?

    etc.

In 1946, when assembling my Army Album in Trieste, http://ww2talk.com/forums/gallery/album/42-rons-actual-army-album/ I discovered that i had lost my small, personal diaries for the years 1942 & 1943.

I'm satisfied in my own mind that they were taken from my kitbag when I went into dock in March '44 but regardless of when they went missing, I still live in hopes that someday, someone, will find them and bring them into the public domain,

In their absence I have relied on diaries kept by my dear mate Lew Fox, Regimental diaries of the 49th L.A.A Rgt, R.A, the Internet and, what I am still grateful for, a bloody good memory !
