Threads on last 2 years shows: Victory_show_2006 Victory_show_2007 If any-one's in the area I'd recommend it, there's been a real feeling that this one'll get bigger and bigger. The mock battle is about the best I've seen, real space for the vehicles to maneuver. A few more snaps, recently dug from the hard drive, of last year's show: http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=1&pictureid=51 http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=1&pictureid=50 http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=1&pictureid=48 http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=1&pictureid=49 Worth keeping a real eye on the surrounding fields to 'the main event' as well, we spotted a Centurion & SdKfz 7 being 'privately' thrashed around nearby fields. It'd make my show if the loon in the P51 from 2006 returned, we were faintly disappointed not to get strafed last year .

The Lancaster did a bombing run at last years show, perhaps the Lancaster is going to return for this years show or maybe it's the B17 from Duxford.
Wow,what an absolute star that geezer was I swear he was using our big red flag as his aiming point ,defo not technicaly above board in a strict HandS sense but one of the best displays Ive seen in all my years as a airshow goer.( that and the hurricane badged up in my Gt Uncles markings ) It was this show that convinced me that P51s realy are the Cadalac of the skies Dave organised a blinder of a show and I was gutted to miss this last year. ps,anyone who did attend 2006 will know just how fast a zehltbahn tent can catch fire, especialy when its a crappy nylon repro
