    A definite 'no' from me. All sorts of reasons which I can't be bothered to go in to. It would be a different answer if there was a WW1 UK equivalent of the Legion d'Honneur (as awarded to generally all surviving WW2 Normandy Veterans because 'they were there').

    I am not British so I don't know if my vote should 'count' or not. That said, I am generally and in the American context opposed to retrospective awards and other such revisions. They seem to be to be less about doing justice to the dead and more about the present generation congratulating itself on its superior insight.
