    The Southern Railway and the influence of the Second World War on railway nationalisation, by James Allen.

    I found this some years ago and thought it interesting. It is an HTML and I can't see how to load it as a resource

    Yes that's it Richelieu,

    I found it interesting, even though it was an unusual source. I lived next to the LSWR part of the SR during and after the war; until I read this paper I always felt that they were, somehow, second best.
