The Runnymede Memorial. the original invitation

    The attachment is of the original invitation sent to my mother by the Imperial War Graves Commission in March 1953 to attend the unveiling of the Air Forces Memorial Runnymede. My mother, grandmother and I attended.

    Thanks for posting Peter.

    I'd be interested to find out whether or not those attending the unveilling of the RAF Bomber Command Memorial are offered a reduction in their fares; or whether or not an appropriate number of parking spaces have been resolved. I suspect not; changed days.
