The Road to Omaha

Those interested in the US29th Infantry Division and its time spent in Cornwall prior to D-Day and its embarkation for the far shore may like to take a look at this. This documentary is illustrated with historical photographs and film footage along with photos of the locations visited. Follow the Americans from their time in Bodmin along the embarkation route through sausage camp N-H and down to the hards on the River Fal, with a brief diversion to look at their training exercises at Pentewan.
