I ordered a copy of 'Hitler - The Rise of Evil' and it came in the post yesterday. Been meaning to watch it for ages.
It's in two parts and just under three hours in length. I'm not sure how accurate it is but it held my attention throughout. I thought it was excellent. Robert Carlyle was brilliant as was Peter Stormare.
It gave me a better insight to what is a fascinating part of German history.
Be interesting to learn more about Fritz Gerlich and the Hanfstaengl's.

IT was the knowledge of that evil regime that we faced alone. The time when the nation stood together as one unit. That was this Nations finest hour.

That evil manifested itself in the SS units we fought against. PIGS

A great film. I agree with Carlyle and Stormare doing a good job portraying Hitler and Ernst Röhm and the film in general gives a good insight into the beginning of the third reich. However I feel the film loses some of its realism when its all english spoken throughout the film.
