Yes - God bless her! She became Queen one month after I was born so she is the only British Monarch I have known. I have been asking a trivia question for many years and only one person has ever known the answer (A good friend of my late mother) What were the birth names of Princess Elizabeth? Not one person from the UK has ever answered it correctly.
I know your Britsh are more fund on the Royals as we are, at least I am, as they cost us loads of money, and I think that our Queens should only have a ceremonial function, on no political at all, but isn't time, that she retire? (like our queen should do)
