"What about the five pointed star on the Moroccan flag - a muslim nation. Apparently the star of David as depicted on the Israeli flag was before the turn of the last century was recognised as a Satanic symbol. Where the reasoning for this is I don't know"

That would be due to the smear campaign for centuries orchestrated by the Roman Catholic Church, which sought/seeks to demonise old pagan religons/symbology actually representative of love. In so doing, they help consolidate their own power and influence over the masses. It's a familiar story throughout history...

I read that the reason the USA uses a five-pointed star is much more prosaic than all the above. Apparently George Washington took his design for the Stars and Stripes to a local seamstress, asking for a six-point star, and she pointed out that a five point star would be much easier to cut out and so cheaper to make.

This story was in that most authoritative source, the Arthur Mee's Children's Encyclopaedia, and gave the lady's name - Betty somebody-or-other.

But maybe thats what the Illuminati want us to believe....

    I love stories like this!

Anyone know the origins of the five pointed star painted on US military warplanes since the 1920s? The Pentacle is actually an ancient religous symbol that pre-dates Christianity by thousands of years. It's a pagan symbol representing Venus, the goddess of female love and sexuality, yet its true origins have been corrupted over the millennia, originally by the Roman Catholic Church seeking to smear the symbolism of Pagan - nature worshipping - religons, and more latterly by Hollywood, who usually portray it as a Satanic symbol of devil worship, and the U.S. military who, in effect, are using it as a symbol of war!

Apparently, there's some kind of satanic symbol also hidden (but visible if you know what to look for) in U.S. dollar bills.

    Anyone care to comment?

The real problem here is that US never painted the pentacle on their warplanes or any other vehicles. A pentacle is:

"A five-pointed star, often held to have magical or mystical significance, formed by five straight lines connecting the vertices of a pentagon and enclosing another pentagon in the completed figure."

The US military uses a solid star and has never used the pentacle as a symbol (as far as I know).

Pentagram is the line-drawn star, Pentacle is the star and circle. Largely interchangeable but I used to know a few satanists and they take these things fairly seriously. very odd arguments down the pub.
Yours is the naughty way up by the way drgslyr. ;)
I Imagine '5-pointed star' is the more correct usage of the Allied symbol, but that wouldn't be half so much fun when building conspiracies.
Oh no! It's a disguised Pentacle!
    Damned cunning these illuminati.

Owen, that's a 'meatball' star, much more sinister...

Adam do you mean Wicca and similar pagan followings or the Church demonising the Jewish and Muslim faiths.

It's odd how a lot of the muslim nations have a solid star on their flags yet Morocco has the pentagram. But in saying that isn't a pentagram recognized as a satanic symbol if the two points are at the top? By having it as in the Moroccan flag it has no connotations only religious and relevant to the muslims.

I think that could be Betsy Ross. Could be wrong though!!! Something as innocent as that perhaps, wonder what she would say if she knew the controversy it has stirred up - lol.
