Hill 112

 

Tessel Wood

 

Foy Woods, where Easy Company were during the Battle of the Bulge.

 

River Po, scene of the last major battle in Italy, April 1945.

 

This one shows the location of Cavendish Road, which we walked in May this year.

 

Can I be thick and ask what happened at Tessel Woods (DDay me thinks) and Hill 112?

Sorry - Tessel Wood was a much fought over location by 49th (West Riding) Division in June 1944, several weeks after D Day. Hill 112 saw pretty much constant fighting in June-July 1944.
