I've been made aware that a book has been written, and recently published entitled "Nazi Princess: The Final Deception", about a woman in New York City claiming to be the eldest daughter of Joseph Goebbels, who until now was presumed dead. Has anyone here read it? I'm curious if this is simply another example of fabrication, or if there is any convincing and reliable evidence to support the authors claim. To my knowledge , and I stand corrected on this, Goebbels had no children Legitimate that is !) other than those he had with Magda Goebbels. Magda had another son from a previous marriage, called Harald Quandt, and he survived.
As far as I'm aware, you are exactly right Heinrici. (Nice name by the way, old school General B) ) But it is the oldest of his five children who it is claimed is the subject of this book. You are right, as far as I and everyone else is aware, the 5 children were killed before Joseph and Magda Goebbels took their own lives, and being of a cynical nature(some would say realistic ), I'm willing to bet that this book is nothing more than a attention seeking, greatly fabricated conspiracy theory. I was just hoping that someone here might know more about the book.-
The oldest of Magda's kids was the son Harald Quandt, by her first husband, Gunther Quandt, upon whom she cheated...with Gunther's son by a previous marriage. They got divorced, and Magda hooked up with Goebbels, and they got married in a civil ceremony. They had six kids. Magda Goebbels poisoned all six of them shortly after Hitler's death.
