After the war, General Ike Eisenhower was asked what he thought was the most decisive weapon in WW2 ?
He answered that there were three. The Willys Jeep
    The Dakota C47
    and The bazooka.

What do you consider overall to be the most decisive weapon?

Men with the will to fight,
    Nice answer!

Not just the men on the ground either,
    Churchill,
    Roosevelt,
    Stalin,
If they weren't decisive weapons in their own right I don't know what was.

    Cheers,
    Adam.

I too like "men with the will to fight".

The cooperation and coordinated focus between the Allied nations was instrumental in the defeat of the Axis.

Penicillin from 1943 to 1945 was responsible for a 90% reduction in deaths from bacterial infection and faster recuperation and return to duty of those with minor wounds and STD's.

I suppose you could reverse these answers. Would the allies still have won without any single or multiple of these "decisive weapons".

There are a few threads touching on the similar question from many previous members as well.

Maybe after the thread has run it's course the answers could be compiled.
