    2 Lincolns had now left France, to move to Belgium.

    An assault was to be undertaken across Meuse/L'Escaut Canal, Lille-Saint-Hubert. The bridges had already been blown by the enemy. A large number of casualties would be incurred.

    Most of them will be laid to rest at Leopoldsburg War Cemetery. I've had the honour to visit several times over the years.
