Yeah it's been a looooooooooooooooong night at work, and I'm feeling a little like a DJ right about now.
A while back i was flicking through the TV channels & came across a film that has the title of Hurricane i think? What a top film. Its about a American boxer has to how he got stitched up for a murder that he did not commit! Bob Dylan the CD that is called Desire.Track No.1 Hurricane. At 8.33 minutes long its a masterpiece. My Old-man fell out with Roberto in the 1970's. Not sure why.. The BBC seem to be showing some interviews with the boxer- Rubin Carter that is. Regards, Stu.
My favorite mountain music singer. Her husband's last name was Lovelace, not Loveless but when she was getting her career started Linda Lovelace was a famous porno actress (Deep Throat) so she changed it to Loveless. She lives in Dallas, Georgia now, on the west side of Atlanta
It's Mardi Gras time here in Louisiana. This is a pic in the French Quarter. Looks like things are in full swing there already. I'm sure this tune is heard a lot down there. I like this one more. An all-time favorite. This should get you into the mood. Here's a good one to get things moving with. And this one will keep you moving. Well, it's better when you're liquored up a bit. Dang Saints. Been breaking hearts and bookies since 1967. Still a pretty good tune, always popular in New Orleans. Rebirth Brass Band - Do Whatcha Wanna
You beat me to this one. Dr. John performed at one of our Mardi Gras balls (Krewe of Orion) a few years ago. He got too liquored up on stage and staggered out and refused to come back on after a break.
