    Best concert I ever went to was The Kinks who were supporting (imagine!) ... ZZ Top (now they were dreadful).

    The Kinks Setlist at RDS Arena, Dublin

    Most dreadful concert I ever went to was The Rolling Stones. Best may have been the over-qualified prog. rockers ELP (in the early days), or it may have been Wishbone Ash (early days). Most famous was probably The Doors. Ones I regret never seeing live, The Clash, The Kinks and rather utterly, stupidly, missing Rory Gallagher.
