Sadly my dad L.Cpl. William (Bill) Spearing 2666591 of the the 5th Bn Coldstream Guards has recently passed away aged 92.... I think dad may well have been the last from the 5th. which would have saddened him.
I'm trying to get a CG trumpeter or a CG Bandsman to "see" dad off, not just for him but for all the other 800 plus Coldstreamers of the 5th Bn. If you know of anyone who may have the slightest influence about these matter then any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Mark.

    Hello Mark,
    My condolences.

Have you tried contacting Wellington Barracks to see if anyone there can help?

    Or the band....
    Corps of Army Music
Band of the Coldstream Guards Located in Central London:
    Telephone: 0207 414 3269

    Or CG f/book page:
    Coldstream Guards

    Or failing those:
    Coldstream Guards
1st Battalion Coldstream Guards, Victoria Barracks, Sheet St, Windsor SL4 1HF
    Telephone 01753 755598

Other members might have contacts, wishing you success in your attempts.

(If CG can't help, perhaps try the local RBL branch)
