There is a claim that Garry Glitter shoved his hand up the *rse of someone named Fred Barker during an episode of 'Lift Off With Ayshea' some time in the 1970's!

The real story is what the other hand was doing under there.

My ex-girlfriend worked at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, she told at that time that she saw Saville grabbing some of the nurse's bums. ''If he grabs mine, I'll smack his face'', Don't care who he is'' I have no-doubt at all that she would have done so as well !!

Fresh evidence being discussed on TV and in the newspapers concerning Jimmy Savile included abuse taking place at Stoke Mandeville.

I was immediately reminded of something my old friend Eddy Patman told me about Savile.

Eddy was a volunteer at Stoke Mandeville and on one occasion I just casually mentioned the name of Jimmy Savile who was mentioned in the Press at the time as being someone that was very much involved with the place.

Eddy immediately made a gesture of disgust and left my wife and i in no doubt that Savile was simply the nastiest of characters.

This long before the revelations of abuse that was later to come out in later years.
