The Infantry Bulletin - anyone seen one?

    I've just found mention of this tonight while looking at something else. A few paragraphs in the 21 Army Group "Infantry Notes" I've got hold of a couple of refer to the source as being "Infantry Bulletin No.xx".

    Is anyone familiar at all with this Infantry Bulletin series? There's something in the Canadian archives called "Progress Bulletin Infantry", which might be the same thing or something entirely different. A few example pages from a post-war era available here;

    Pattern 1944 Web Equipment

    Some mention over at Discovery for issues 7 to 15

    A.F.H.Q. Infantry Bulletins 7 to 15 | The National Archives

    I can't work out it that was a theatre specific publication though for Italy

    Thanks TD, that was the link I'd seen after a very quick perusal of Discovery. Lee has done some work for me before at the Archives and very good it was too! I was trying to get an idea of what's in the Bulletins to judge whether they're worthwhile going after before asking him to look (time spent in reconnaissance is never wasted...).

    There are a few mentions in the Canadian Archives search, but I don't know if these are the same thing, and I'm wondering if there were separate Bulletins produced in Italy and Northwest Europe.
