Hi all, just stumbled upon this photograph of a very frail looking photo of Hitler on his 50th Birthday (1939). I found this interesting as I have personally only ever seen Hitler looking powerful and dominant.

    It's a colourised version of a series:

A UK rag recently presented it as a 'rare colour image', but I'm pretty convinced it's colourised and that's what enhances the emaciated effect.

The footage of him with Hitler Youth 'troops' outside the bunker is probably the most famous visual evidence of the state of him towards the end, along with dozens of pictures of him clutching his tremens hand (and of course, his doctor's and official's testimony).

    He looks distinctly rough here:

    Adam,
    Absolutely correct.
At the medal presentation to the Hitler Youth outside the bunker he looked at least 20 years older than his actual age!

    Regards
    Tom

He looks quite frail. Not that it matters but how tall was Hitler?
