Hi all, just stumbled upon this photograph of a very frail looking photo of Hitler on his 50th Birthday (1939). I found this interesting as I have personally only ever seen Hitler looking powerful and dominant. click to enlarge
It's a colourised version of a series: http://www.bytwerk.com/gpa/images/hitler50/hitler50i.jpg A UK rag recently presented it as a 'rare colour image', but I'm pretty convinced it's colourised and that's what enhances the emaciated effect. He looks distinctly rough here: Adam, Absolutely correct. At the medal presentation to the Hitler Youth outside the bunker he looked at least 20 years older than his actual age! Regards Tom
