The flag that flew at Luneberg Heath

    At the King Edward VII's Hospital, Beaumont Street, London; it was formerly known as King Edward VII's Hospital for Officers. Apologies for the reflections in the glass, the door on the left in the first photo fronts Beaumont Street and the door was open on a sunny day.

    I have presented to King Edward VII's Hospital for Officers the Union Flag shown flying at my Tactical Headquarters on Luneberg Heath on 4th May 1945

    I wonder if he'd received some treatment at this hospital for him to donate the flag to it.
