    Hi

I am researching the defences of Basingstoke and the Home Guard that defended them. The Salisbury East Line went south of the town (now just north of the M3 but at the time in open countryside!) and the 'keep' of the defences was around the Southern Region Railway Station. There are some interesting photos of remaining structures from the keep in the Pillbox Study Group Forum under Hampshire.

I am interested in any recollections, maps, plans, articles etc that can help my research, however small
