    To an extent.

    I'd personally assumed that Combat deaths were 100% not included (other than being part of Hitler's general slate).
    But as I don't know that for absolutely certain (not having read much on the Holocaust for a few years) it seemed fair to invite further confirmation.
    (Though I expect to be attacked whenever I try and stay initially calm on these things - somebody's got to stay a little bland, if only to hopefully provoke further response from the OP ;))

    I think the eventual point of my post is clear, i.e.
    So... what makes you think they are [included in the infamous figure], Ralph?
    It's probably time to flash some sources rather than assertions - Interesting things, sources...
    Reading & re-reading Ralph's post, I felt he needed to make himself clearer if he wishes to raise the thing above some kind of passing strangeness.

    If he can't do that (which I somehow doubt, having browsed what other postings of his I can find across the wider Internet), the thread will die the traditional death of such things quite soon.

    Perhaps, Ralph, I would respectfully suggest you may like to pay a visit to Yad Vashem, Jerusalem and debate the statistical accuracy of the Holocaust there? Whatever exact figure you may have in mind each person who died in the Holocaust was an individual.

    Does the above matter?
    Only if you want to describe and understand the war with accuracy.

    Of course it matters. If you can't even get the names you wish to impress us with right, not much hope for the rest. If that's what your information is worth, then get rid of it and check some other "source". And all this assuming he was Jewish indeed, which is yet another kettle of gefilte fish.

    Interesting! You can find such postings all across the the Forums for WW2. If that would be important how much individuals have been killed. Fact is that the killing of only 1 individual for this reason, they had, was to much!!!
