    Peter thank you

Another one of those stories I was in a collectables shop and got chatting to the lady owner and she happened to mention her Uncle was shot down during WW2 and they did not know where he was buried or have any other info. The family thought he was buried in France
So have printed off the Runnymede column photo and will drop the rest of the info you have supplied back to her

    great work thank you again

Sgt Blore was my uncle's number 2 at Dieppe. My uncle was very cut up about Blore's loss. I have much of his sortie details if anyone is interested. My e-mail is henderson_rl@hotmail.com.
My uncle, Jack Henderson, was killed on 22 Dec 42 on his father's birthday. I have been researching his life and it is now nearly a book. If I can help anyone with 19 Sqn info, let me know. Thanks, R

    To all the above,
My apologies for the slow response but for some reason the forum didn't send me any prompts and I was unaware of your input. I need to do some digging in my archives but I will be sending out some material shortly.
    Best wishes,
    Roger Henderson

    Hi Sue,

I recently first read about Eric Blore in Dorothy Blackman's book "Burnham, Cippenham and Hitcham War Heroes". I would like to create a biography on him for my local history website. I would be very grateful if you could email your photo of Eric to me. My email address is jpb 'at' cippenham.org.

    regards

    Julian
