I was looking at this Aerial Photo of Arnhem bridge showing the destruction of the German vehicles which attempted to cross the bridge but were attacked by Frost and his men.

Does anyone know what vehicles were destroyed during the attack?

More than likely Bittrichs 2nd Panzer Corps of 9th and 10th regiments with only lighter Tanks - no Panthers / Tigers but PZ4 & 3

enough to handle lightly armed Infantry…

    Cheers

No pnzIV. Any mention of PnzIV by the para's were in fact PnzIII (in the early days of the drop operation...later came Jagdpnzr IV lang..in Arnhem.).
I don't have the reference, but I read it few weeks ago in either a boardgame historical facts sheet, or a webpage. But it was convincing.

But Graebner's attack was only with recce vehicles, no proper tank.

There were actually Pzkpfw IV's at Arnhem, Panzer Kompanie Mielke had two, one Ausf G and one Ausf H, both were knocked out , one by a 6pdr of C Troop and the other by either a piat or a 6pdr. Also 2 Tiger I's from sPanzer Kompanie Hummel were in action in Arnhem from the evening of the 19th September .

    As to Graebners attack:

First thing there were no Puma armoured cars, the 9th SS Pz Div. 'Frundsberg' was never issued any.

Secondly Marcel Zwarts, the leading expert on German armour at Arnhem and compiler of the attached sketch, has identified 21 of the 27 vehicles left on and around the bridge.

    Arnhem.png

1 & 3-9 are Sdkfz 250 half tracks of SS Pz Aufklarungs Abt. 9
2 is a Sdkfz 10 of the same unit
10-11 & 16-18 are various types of lorry
    12 probably a closed trailer
    13, 14 & 16 Ford lorries
    15 & 18 most likely motor cars
Four or five lorries had already been ambushed and destroyed on the Sunday night, the remaining vehicles belonged to KG Graebner. Of the remaining vehicles (19) is an Opel truck and (21) a captured American dodge T214 weapons carrier both belonging to SS Pz Aufklarungs Abt. 10 and were knocked out previously during an earlier attack by KG Brinkmann. (20) is a Dutch civilian refuse truck that was shot up accidentally by the paras shortly after dawn on the Monday.
