Were you with 8th Armoured Brigade? From your profile I would have thought you were with Guards Armoured Division! Best, Steve.
Steve Bob was 4 GG in 6th Gds Armd Bde. Hello Owen, I have just had to look that up; Ex-Guards Armoured Division, but an Independent Brigade in NW Europe. Cheers, Steve.
Bob said via a VM that his first action was supporting 15 Div at point 309 in August '44. Hello Owen, I'll have to have a look at that action in 'Monty's Northern Legions' - Delaforce; which I know you also have. Best, Steve.
Steve mac. The Tees & Tynsiders (50th Div) June 6 & 7 landings, long before us, we remained in Kent as part of the diversif plan. Im sure the boys from Newcastle could have done a splended job whatever. yours bob90
