I'm not a tanker either, PC, I'm having a good day when I know the discussion is about a Sherman or a Tiger!

I reckon Matilda but only cos the skirts make me think Matilda. It's probably something obscure and the tankers are probably rolling on the floor with laughter!

I'd have to agree with Andy, it sure looks Matilda-like. Wait on someone more knowledgeable, though, for the the final conclusion.

    Matilda 2,
The 2's significant as Matilda 1 is totally different.

Put that down to a fortunate guess then!

Any significance to the pic from your point of view, PC, if you don't mind me asking or were you just curious?

The pic comes from a book that came into my possession a few days ago and I was curious as to what type the tank was.

To me, the Matilda 1 looked a like a spindly, low slung farm tractor with a turret.
