Suffolk BTN Clearing bomb damage in Liverpool

Hello,

Does anyone have any info regarding the Suffolk Battalion clearing bomb damage in Liverpool?
This happened after Dunkirk and before the 5th Battalion was sent to re-enforce Singapore.

Ive been told it's probably the Liverpool docks and the surrounding area. Wanted to know where they may have been billeted? Where specifically they would have been clearing bomb damage? and records or photos of them actually being there. The person that I am researching does not have anything on their service record of them actually being there.
Any other relevant information would be helpful.
