    Nice job.
    1/24th Airfix?
Keep being tempted by one of their big planes but I'm a bit cautious to spend so much as I have concerns about Airfix quality. Trumpeter 1/24th is due soon, might lure me out.

    Hi Screamingeagle

Working on and off building the Stuka, it took me about four months to complete.

    It's a 1/24 scale Airfix kit.

Von Poop. The quality of the kit was really good for Airfix, (perhaps the more expensive the kit the better the quality) as for the cost i got the kit as a present from Santa.
I don't know if Revell do the same scale kit but i have found that there kits are moulded better and fit together better.
The only thing with Revell if there is a missing part, i found it difficult to get hold of a replacement part. But once i had managed to contact the UK office the part was delivered within a week.
I still have contact details if anyone has got the same problem of getting hold of missing parts.

Nice job on the Stuka. It's funny that the paint scheme is very similar to what I am painting mine (1/48 Revell). I've seen the same pattern on other modelers' Stukas. Perhaps we are all using the Revell directions as a guide (I know I am)?

This is an old thread and it's been sometime since i've visted this site. Nice to see there is still interest in this post, i'm quite proud of this model, one of the best Airfix kits i have assembled.

No airbrushing, all the paint work was done by brush i have never airbrushed any models i have painted.
