Hi All, Can anyone help which a few photos of this cemetery looking for a 2 Lan crews.. And Robert Hanney Grave 1... Cheers Tom
Hi Tom, Method A: This Google image search (simply for "Strijen" to keep it multilingual) led me to Commonwealth War Graves Strijen - WW2Museums.com NB: I linked to the search in case you can spot CWGC headstones I missed Method B: More conventionally, just searching The War Graves Photographic Project gets these results for Strijen Cheers, Steve
Hi Tom Try Philip Reinders. He has that cemetery listed as completed on the Netherlands Cemeteries list. Post 70. http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/war-grave-photographs/39462-war-graves-holland-common-list-7.html#post470148 Cheers - Rob
Hi Rob & Steve, Thanks would you believe I almost got to that place Bloody sta nav... And the reason behind the photo request is the fact that I believe Robert Hanney might be an Arnhem Casualty... Cheers Tom
John, Thanks looks like the Air 27 to me will forward this one to Geert, I already have the panel thanks to Clive.. Two more to add now.... Tom PS how many more ORB do you have ?? do you have 16 too ????
Tom I've got hard copies of quite a few of the ORB's gathered over the years but the microfilms in the AIR 27 series are often very poor quality - they're now available online and these appear to have been recopied from the originals. It's a budget call 20p per page whilst at the Archives or £3.50 to download the file. The other day I copied a 500+ page file for £3.50 (absolute bargain) - other times they want £3.50 for 5 or 6 pages. John
