This forum seem have a similar thread: Gotta love the Fammileureux Utility B, always think they chose a bloke that matched the shape of the machine. (vickers licensed design). Love the tracked bike; I've Never seen that before, caption a little confusing, is that a model on the right? looks like it. Since the Minenraumer's cropped up again I'll add the mechanical mule: And, of course, the beautiful Landrover Centaur, one of these rare beasts has recently been acquired from Iraq by the Dunsfold collection.:

von Poop, your photos look like they came from TANKS! Kyt, that 1/2-track is gorgeous Should have checked, after all, nearly all interesting AFV pics come from TANKS! these days don't they Got to echo the halftrack comment too, great stuff. Should have checked, after all, nearly all interesting AFV pics come from TANKS! these days don't they This one is less well known but it's a mine as well. Can you read Swedish? http://ww2photo.mimerswell.com/index.htm

Rarely failing to raise a smile it's the Japanese Kurogane Type 95 2 seater 'Staff car': Staff at Willi Wonka's chocolate factory maybe.
More on mono-wheels here. Motorwheels monowheels Excellent and lucid site, the Transport section is fascinating and most appropriate to some of the strangest vehicles ever thought of. I'd certainly never herad of Gyrocars, I can see why people persued them as it sounds like such a good idea before the real world, physics etc. begins to interfere. Gyrocars (Gyrover is fascinating) Rocket Bicycle. !!!!
Just putting Boston's peculiar unidentified machine from 'name that vehicle in here so I can find it more easily: It's got 'Scorpion' written on it. We think it's British. It seems to have had an outboard motor. It definitely qualifies as a 'strange vehicle'. (I can't even work out how the wheel arrangement works...)
