Trying to trace Pilot Officer, test pilot RAF Helensburgh MAEE circa 1943/44.Details for the Helensburgh Heritage list of pilots at Helensburgh. I have tried the following Fox, the Battle of Britain pilot, Eric, Gardie, Charles, B.L. R.W. and Thomas Fox. Ironically, I have a list of aircraft tested by my Fox including Mariner JX103. It appears he arrived at Helensburgh in 1943 and was gone during 1945

This database on Ancestry - All Great Britain, Royal Aero Club Aviators’ Certificates, 1910-1950 results for Fox gives 26 results but obviously might need a little more research and detail

and in this database - All UK, Royal Air Force Airmen Records, 1918-1940 results for Fox - Results 1–20 of 460

He may be in them he may not, but it is another avenue especially if you have more details starting perhaps with approximate age or year of birth
