I had no idea, over here for bulky rubbish, old white goods to be recycled etc we just make an appointment with the sanitation services and they'll pick it up.

D yes indeed great ditty "In the summer time when the weather is fine"

Za my friend you are quite correct but I do believe it is more fun with a good fire
I love the smell of wood smoke and creosote and toasted marshmallows on a warm summers evening.
Having said that maybe its just me and I need to think about my summer fun:unsure:

(weather warning up date Blighty back to mid teens centigrade by mid week break out the woollens )

I am just hoping the the weather is ok tomorrow as our 14 year old daughter is getting confirmed and she wanted the party at home.

Forecast is not good, but we live in hope and I hope that the sun shines on the righteous.

    Regards
    Tom

Well the weather remained good for us and only an hour after dismantling the large Tent in the Garden this afternoon, the mother of a storm blew in.
Thunder, lightning, heavy hail and gale force winds that felled two very mature trees half a mile away and which blocked one of the a main roads to Spandau from Falkensee.

All things being equal it was a great day for all concerned except that my prized camera gave up the ghost after a guest knocked it onto the floor from a cabinet.

Must see if I can get a rubber coated one next time.:D

    Regards
    Tom

Andy, do you not drink any more or do you not drink anymore ?

I'm sure you are all envious of the summer temperatures we are enjoying over here at the moment. For the last days it has been around 45 (C) in the daytime, not dropping below 30 at night.
Yes, I do indeed find it quite enough. Please refer to my post #132 in the thread "What's for dinner?"

  18. C'mon you blokes, time to end this thread.

Must go now, just made a rum and coke so will go and enjoy it sitting in the spa.B)

From the land of the endless summer.
