BBQ dug out of garage, cobwebs & dust cleaned off. Now to light it up. Burn baby burn, BBQ inferno. Chiminea ready to go too with broken up fence panels as fuel. I'm gonna have fun tonight burning things.
and on the other side of the world things are getting chilly :p went for a three hour cycle this morning and looked like the Michelin man with all the layers of clothing. Only starting thaw out now
Ah Owen fence panels im sure over the years we have burnt about 2 miles of old fence panels Please note the above does not include the bonfire night party catherine wheel fence fire which was another incident.
I'm so not used to seeing blue skies I had to take a few photos of it. Took these whilst lying out in my garden.
Last weekend: Today I gave the William of Orange the cat a bath and put him on the window sill to dry in the sun
Sunshine was what I missed the most when I was in Ireland, although I did enjoy a few weekends of it for a few loooong drives No lack of beer, though
I am just hoping the the weather is ok tomorrow as our 14 year old daughter is getting confirmed and she wanted the party at home. Forecast is not good, but we live in hope and I hope that the sun shines on the righteous. Regards Tom
Sunshine was what I missed the most when I was in Ireland, although I did enjoy a few weekends of it for a few loooong drives No lack of beer, though Muggy day here in NI Za, what I consider our Summer. Half the day spent pumping up the paddling pool and filling it with water - the other half consoling shivering children when the sun gave up and the temp. dropped. Plenty of beer, adults only I might add. Blue skies ... hah!
Heheheh! I can understand that, saw the same scene several times! It was much worse when I was working in Finland, once I was calling the HQ and they were telling me what marvellous time they had had on the beach on the weekend, and how everyone was in short sleeves, and me by the window looking at the seagulls skidding on the ice in the harbour! Moosey, I never saw anything like that flaming contraption in my life, what is it, something you pilfered from the Spanish Inquisition museum?
