    Hi

A diary that my wife's uncle - William Smyth, Irish Fusiliers - wrote when he was in a Stalag near Magdeburg from 1943 -1945 has resurfaced and it is fascinating reading.

I am putting together a short film but I need to know in what camp he was imprisoned. I think that it is possibly Stalag 11B.

In the diary he describes his escape and subsequent capture and gives details of the Allied bombing runs.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
