There is a book called "Queen's Royal Regiment The Staffordshire Yeomanry, an account of the operations of the regiment during World War II 1939-1945" By Major D.F. Underhill, published 1994 & 2000 by the museum. A coupe of pages are devoted to the period you enquire of. I can scan them and send to you if required.
