To mark the 70th anniversary of the raid on St Nazaire there is a parade and service in Falmouth on Sunday 25th March. The Parade gathers on The Moor and proceeds to Prince of Wales pier for a
Service at 11.00a.m. The flotilla of craft with their brave crews and commando left from the Carrick Roads on 26th March 1942.

I am going to the service in St Nazaire itself,Phil. I will try and get some decent photos to post on my return.

For those unable to travel to St Nazaire, I have arranged a wreath laying in Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff on 10.30am on the 28th March (Wednesday). To commemorate the Raid, and more specifically the Welsh soldiers killed during the Raid. They also trained locally for the raid at Barry docks.

All are warmly invited to attend.
