With no response from the other place might be lucky here. I am researching a WWI VAD, Phyllis Guillemard, who died 28th November 1916, not commemorated by CWGC.

Would be grateful for a photo of the family grave on which she is commemorated - Grave No. E. 11. 1. Plan available if required. Also a photo of a stained glass window erected to her memory. As there appears to be more than one window perhaps a church description of the memorial may be helpful =

Outer light on right depicts Mercy and Love to sick and wounded mankind to which Phyllis Guillemard gave her life as VAD in the Great War. She was born on the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels, hence the figure of the Archangel Michael, his sword is sheathed and on his vesture is displayed a Red Cross. Above is the harbour and the towers of St. Andrews where Phyllis was educated at St. Leonard’s school. Her beloved retriever was broken heated after her death and is seen with the Shepherds.

Most grateful for any assistance and will PM my email if required.

    Hello Clive

I did find that site also found a complicated family tree of the Hugoenot Society so they appear to have a classy family background.

Just had a PM with a church contact form so if nothing appears here will try that.

You started this off with a photo of a memorial plaque to her. BRC sent me copies of her Service card and her sister's who survived the war. If you PM your email add will send you copies, can't post here as BRC might object.

    hello Tony just a thought
if no luck it might be worth contacting them

    St Martin's East Woodhay

I contacted them and got a response from the Church Warden who promised pics in 10 days - Christmas got in the way so I avoided a second request until mid Jan. got an apology from her and another promise of 10 days. - A gentle request beginning of March asking if there was a problem - no response so far. So don't want to be indelicate, just in case so -

If anybody reading this can satisfy my request - "Would be grateful for a photo of the family grave on which she is commemorated - Grave No. E. 11. 1. Plan available if required. Also a photo of a stained glass window erected to her memory." I would be most grateful.

I am in the process of writing an article for the Huguenot Journal, Phyllis Guillemard is one of 61 names mentioned on there roll of honour from 1919. Of the 61 ladies named she is the only one who died (Influenza) I have sent this years article to my editor, but would love to include more details of the stained glass window in her honour.
