Spoils of War

    After reading VP's column about Surplus Weapons, I came across these photos of a mountain of German helmets and respirators, a bin full of Lugers, and a depot of rifles. They weren't worth much then.

    Blimey, Imagine the current market value of each of those Lugers! bet that bloke wasn't short of trading power in postwar europe.
    Some of the Helmet dumps have been 'dug' over the last few years yielding loads of stuff for the Militaria sellers.

    ughhh I wish this stuff was still as "worthless" as it looks in these pictures...
