Spitfire Pilot memorial. Berkshire.

    I took these March 2011. This young Pilot was killed whilst flying Spitfire P8049 near Richmond, Yorkshire.

    This engraved seat has since been re-engraved, but is still not very clear.
    Also the plaque, after being slightly vandalized a couple of years ago, then repaired, has now been removed to the family burial ground.

    This is how it now looks. Note that the plaque behind the seat has now been removed as mentioned above.
    Also the small plaque on the floor infront of the stone (Visible in my first photograph) is now upon the stone.
    This has nothing to do with any of the above.
