Oh yes, we like a 'name that' quiz over here. The more the merrier. Ok, is this thread open now? I hope I'm not going out of turn, anyways, its an easy one....
Yes! I should have posted that in the "name that vehicle" thread, once you knew it was Soviet it's not that tough. A very interesting find it was too! I was wandering around the Khan's palace in Bakchaserai, Crimea and saw this little gem hidden in the garden out back. So I was wandering out in the semi-overgrown garden, I saw this monument & T-70, the inscription reads "This was the tank that defended the town", from when the Oct/Nov 1941 the Germans were advancing on Sevastopol.
Freebird you really must tell us more about your travels to the Ost Front too. On with the quiz. OFFTOPIC: Is it first soviet can on tracks?
Freebird you really must tell us more about your travels to the Ost Front too. On with the quiz. Running gear is STZ-5. Turret looks like it is from a T-26. So I reckon it's a "Na Ispug" NI tank from 1941.
T35 Gumalangi, well played sir. It is a T-35, precisely this famous T-35 abandoned in July 1941. It had belonged to the 5th Heavy Tank Brigade of the Red Army. Your turn to post one..
Bod, in that photo what's the one on the right? I can't be arsed to look it up, it's late. EDIT...T-26 init?
