South Africans at Monza 1945

    Whilst reading up on Maj.-Gen Poole I read that the 6th SA Armoured Division had a parade on the racetrack at Monza.

    Found a couple of photos but would like to see more.

    Owen, not quite Monza ! All the same, its worth showing. The plate below is from the Carbineer, The History of the Royal Natal Carbineers. Its by Alan F. Hattersley, M.A. Printed by Gale & Polden Ltd 1950.They only did a Limited Edition of 1,000 copies. This one is No 504.12 South African Motorised Brigade.

    The following is most interesting indeed. I have never read anything like it..13 South African Motorised Brigade. [NMR] Natal Mounted Rifles. Its something i have never come across before in any Divisional, or Regimental History . "ROUGH BUT READY"
