Hi There. Wow, thanks for all the info - more reading!! That is so interesting. My Grandfather Harold Davidson was a POW in WW2 and this is his brother that died in WW1 and I just randomly asked my Mom about family of Harold and she said she thinks he had a brother that was in WW1, and I found his info on the CWGC site. Harold died after the war but is also on the CWGC. Verrieres - not sure how you got that info but it is all the right stuff and since my Mom lost her dad when she was 2 and Mom when she was 15 she does not know much about her family, she is very happy to find anything. So thank you again. My Mom is now planning to visit the cemetery in France - Fins New British Cemetery, if anyone wants any pics from there in the future we can do so for sure. Cheers
I've got the South African's history and quite a bit of relevant material I think so I'll have a look later... (expect a bombardment of unit info sometime over the weekend! LOL) Dave
