almost 70 years ago on 9th June 1951 in the prison of Landsberg/Lech the US Military enforced the last six death penalties in Germany and triggered a bizarre counter movement.

Some German politicians questioned the death penalty, because in 1949 Germany abolished the death penalty.

The last 4 of 1544 Nazi were released from the prison in Landsberg without any restrictions in later years.

Partially I quoted from an article in the German National newspaper Sueddeutche Zeitung.

In 1923/24 Adolf Hitler was in the same prison.
