Incredibly handy, though potentially expensive, as I have just started reading about SOE.
Now printed out. Did I miss Fitzroy McClean's 'Eastern Approaches'? I think I got the title there. Read it years ago.

The late Jean Overton Fuller was one of the early writers on SOE firstly researching the fate of her friend Noor Inyat Khan and then carrying out extensive research into the Dericourt Affair as well as the German penetration of SOE.

I recently discovered that she wrote an autobiography

    Driven to It
    Jean Overton Fuller
    Michael Russell
    2007
    ISBN 978-0-85955-306-3

A very interesting read especially where Vera Atkins is concerned!

'SOE in Italy 1940-1945,' which provides the real story of Britain's secret service in action with the Italian Resistance during the Second World War.

The Special Operations Executive - partner to the OSS SO branch -carried out sabotage and supported local patriots who fought the Nazis and Fascists.

Here is the authentic account of SOE in action - with gripping stories of individual agents and operations, air supply and Resistance.

Full details of the new book can be viewed at the Emilia Publishing website:

Yes!, I received his newsletter about this new title... I wish him all the best, I really appreciated all his previous books. :)

As an Italian, I also recognized the precision of the details he provides to the reader.

    INTO SIAM, UNDERGROUND KINGDOM

By Blake Clark and Nicol Smith

"Blake Clark and Nicol Smith spent their war years with the Office of Strategic Services -- the OSS -- Smith in the field and Clark in the Reports Section in the Home Office. Over a period of many months Lieutenant Colonel Smith's reports found their way into Clark's hands, and the two men felt so conversant with this material that they decided to write a book on the Underground Kingdom of Siam."

The first edition is dated 1945,1946 and is one of the first books published on the OSS. I believe it's the only book published on OSS operations in Siam (Thailand).

I was a tad annoyed that someone had put my SOE/OSS bibliography up on Scribd without asking permission. I have contacted the site to complain of the Copyright infringement.

Good for you! I trust the site has now removed it?

That is a comprehensive list and I appreciate all the work you did putting it together. But how does copyright work in case like this where there is no name of the author (editor, compiler?) and date of publication on the original document? It looks to me you gave it to the world free to share with whomever. If Scribd and the up-loader was making money on it I would be miffed too of course.
