Rather enjoyable, especially the x-ray "hit" camera!

Its a well known fact that he only had one, while Rommel had two, but they were very small.

Seems lowbrow to me. Go join a real combat unit and go to war and then tell me how you feel about it all.

Cheers Deacs - just playing the demo over and over,
getting a feel for the rifle & scope etc, limitations on
AI and all that. Hope to buy the special edition with
all the DLC included at some point soon

Glad you enjoyed it, one of the other chaps on here is one of the designers. I wont say anything about it as I didn't work on this project. If he wants to raise his head I'll leave it to him!

There is something very therapeutic about it.

Precisely. The historical accuracy of said game appears to be pretty doubtful. Better stick to more solid pieces of work like Where Eagles Dare, Guns of Navarone or The Last Crusade.

Perhaps he can pass on to the Head Sheds that it's
not good form to ignore a game idea suggestion -
especially when it's sent via your official homepage
    website 'suggestion box'

My WW1 FPS "6th Brigade" is ready to be developed
and I had hoped a UK company like Rebellion would
be interested - or at least bloody reply, lol

Anyway, having to save the shekels up for the full game
at the mo... The times they are .... still in recession...

What about ' kickstarter '? Kickstarter

The funding for games is very popular so you never know.

Thanks Bradlad, interesting website - but not for me, on this project.
I'm looking for a UK (only) games developer to pitch the initial idea to.

cheers for the thought though ;)

I have to say that the environments are amazing as is
the sound. The only quibble I have is the amount of lead
you have to pump into an enemy before getting a kill.
Especially so with the MP40, even at close-quarters.
Also the amount of hits you, the Wesley(*), can take and
you have no need for field-dressings etc, just a time delay.
Plus the fact that an ankle/lower leg hit can count as a 'kill'
seems a bit weird, although I do come from the OFP (Operation
Flashpoint) school of realistic bullet damage and do realise that
SniperElite2 is just an arcade shoot em up - which it does really
    very well.

The x-ray cam really makes me wince too

(*) What does Wesley do? Wesley SNIPES!
