Dear all, I have come across and bought these sliver war (games) medals which appear to have been given to a 'DVR HIMSWORTH' in Malaya for high jump and running. I bought them off ebay due to my surname on the coins and the seller stated they had come across them in a car boot in the Sheffield (UK) area. Has anyone seen anything similar to this before and if so what date would this relate to. All information welcome. Kindest Dan
Your topic title is misleading. It is a sports medal not a war medal It may have been won by a soldier based in Malaya. Doubtful it would’ve been won during wartime. Steve
