Hello. Hopefully there is a ship expert who can identify the paddle steamer next to the Spud Pierhead.
The 387 number had me leaning to Garesfield per a D-Day ship Excel file I found, but am doubtful. Queen of Kent or Medway Queen perhaps. Answer appreciated. Thanks

The attached is from ABS 39.
Don't know if it is of use to your research?

    Best regards,

  6. Close. This must be QUEEN OF THANET, pendant number 4-387, with the "4" omitted.

    QUEEN OF KENT was 4-383.
