Hi all, Can anyone explain to me the engine compartment of the Sherman III? I know it had a large grille on the top of the engine deck. I think from the following it was for the radiators, but I'm also wondering about the locations of air intake and exhaust. (From Med Area AFV Technical Report 17, from Dec 1943)

I didn't read all of the manuals provided by Temujin but I think all models of Shermans got their engine air though vents in the back of the crew compartment
